Tapawingo Lodge is located on the NW corner of Bistcho Lake, Alberta. We are a fly-in fishing lodge in the spring, summer and fall but are still accessible by land in the frozen season for ice fishing, as this trophy lake is open year round. Our lodge consists of 9 rentable cabins, boats, gazebo, hot showers, freezers, cooler system, small store, and horseshoe pits. The cabins are fully contained. All you need is your sleeping bag and food. You will be provided with all cooking items including a BBQ and 4-burner propane stove with oven. You can expect to catch an abundance of walleye and northern pike. The lake is also home to whitefish, tilapia, burbot, and arctic grayling.

We have a huge abundance of wildlife in the area. Also many eagles, swans and other birds are a huge attraction. Northern lights throughout the seasons are spectacular.

There are two ways to get to us. Our charter plane or fly your own plane in and rent our cabins/boats. Check out our website for prices.
