Located 90 air miles northwest of Fort McMurray in the sub arctic region of the Birch Mountains, Island Lake abounds in trophy-sized walleye and great northern pike. The wilderness surrounding the Lodge offers peace and serenity in virtually undisturbed natural surroundings.

Accessible only by aircraft these fully equipped log cabins have central showers, flush toilets, a camp attendant at all times, and are equipped with satellite phone and Internet. Island Lake has an area of 16.5 square miles with a maximum depth of approximately 50 feet. Several islands afford excellent protection from the wind for uninterrupted fishing. Gardiner Lake is easily accessible by a 15-minute portage (on a daily basis at no extra charge). 16 ft. boats and 9.9HP motors, with the options of economy or full service plans are available.
